This is a charming antique Art Deco clock from Germany, made for a desk or table c 1920. The face of the this lovely clock tilts backwards or forwards in addition to standing straight up. The finish is nickel plated, making for a nice and shiny finish and this Art Deco clock runs for a full eight days. It is approximately 10 inches wide, by 5.5 inches tall. It has a fine adjustment and was just cleaned, oiled and fully refurbished. Price: SOLD
This is a very stylish Art Deco clock by Japy Freres, one of France's oldest and most respected clock makers since the seventeen hundreds. Frederick Japy started making clocks around 1777 and started his firm in 1806. Together with his sons he founded Japy Freres or brothers and went on to become one of the greatest clock making concerns in France right on through to the Art Deco period. This Art Deco mantle clock has an eight day wind and is a combination of lush marble and chrome. The size is 11.5 inches wide by 6.625 inches high and about 3 inches deep. The case and mechanism are in perfect condtion. This clock dates from the 1930's and is a masterful Art Deco clock made by one of the best. SOLD
