Elegant and rare Ansonia Cosmo Crystal Regulator pendulum clock, with an eight day time with half hour and hour gong striking movement was one of Ansonia's premier clocks in their 1914 Ansonia American clock catalog. The 4 1/2" porcelain dial has visible escapement. There is beveled glass on all sides and the top and bottom are green onyx. The case is brass and the crown and garnishments on all corners are gilded gold. The pendulum is two tubes with simulated mercury and is 15 1/4" tall. This is a rare Seth Thomas Clock Co. crystal regulator "Empire #5, circa 1907 antique mantle clock. Seth Thomas Co. desciption of the case was "bronze top and base, raised gold ornaments, god urn and body".The raised gold ornaments are in excellent shape without any discoloring. there are four perfect thick beveled glasses. The clock has an excellent imitation mercury pendulum and the correct two prong key. The lovely porcelain dial is signed and in perfect condition. The hands are correct and it is an eight day round signed movement. It strikes on the half hours with a hanging gong. A stunning and rare American clock. PRICE: $1,500.
Antique Ansonia gold plated Crystal Regulator mantle clock. Eight day time and strike. Circa 1909. This mantel clock is beautiful and is in excellent original condition with gold plating of the case, not the typical brass and has typical wear for its age. The porcelain dial face is perfect (it has Ansonia printed in ornate script on it), the hands and black Arabic numerals and the double barrel pendulum are all perfect and the entire clock is 100% ORIGINAL. This clock works perfectly - it keeps accurate time, chimes (on a soft cathedral gong) once at the half-hour and counts the hours on the hour. This Ansonia Regulator Roune is a rare pendulum clock because it was gold plated at the factory, not like the brass ones that tarnished, as well as its unique round top. Ansonia Clock Co. made some of the finest and classiest clocks in their day, and this is a great example of their high standards and very detailed workmanship. Gorgeous, circa 1901 Ansonia Trianon Mantel Clock with an eight day time and half hour striking movement with a 3 1/2" dial and a door frame that is jeweled. The porcelain hand painted china figural insert has a decorative scene depicting a cupid whispering into a woman's ear. The cast metal clock has a gold finish and is 14 1/2" tall.
